The CAVERLY DNA Project is still looking for interested individuals to join the project. You must be a male with the CAVERLY or a variant of this surname.

We especially welcome those with surname variants such as CALVERLEY, CAVALIER, and CAVERLEY to join the project.

Also, Irish and UK CAVERLYS are needed to determine possible links to the North American branches.

Check out these Internet sites for more details:

 4   General Category / Main Discussion / Caverly/Rierson Oyster Bay Connection?  on: January 22, 2007, 07:48:59 AM

In Peter Caverly's will of 1747 he mentions that his daughter Sarah Rierson has already received her portion.  I searched Long Island records but can't seem to find out who she married.  There are a number of Riersons/Ryersons in New Jersey but I haven't found a connection there either.  Can anyone help?
